What does a photographer do in their downtime?

We live our lives! I spend my days working at the hospital, caring for my family, and making sure my dogs(and cat) stay happy. I cook a LOT- legit every single day. It is my passion to feed my family delicious and nutritious meals! Oh, and I shop... like, wayyyy too much.

Case in point- I bought WINGS! Angel wings to be exact! See photo below. My hubby snapped that- thank you Husband! Please ignore the obviously tired face- we had driven all day to Phoenix and back.

Downtime, as a photographer can be rejuvenating, or, if you haven't had enough shoots, a little bit defeating. The defeated feeling comes this time of year, when bookings are slower(post holiday season) and when the weather is temperamental. Who wants to take photos when they are pale, have a runny nose from allergies, and can't stay warm due to the chill? Yeah, me either! Come Spring though, WATCH OUT WORLD, LCB is going to be so busy!

Spring is genuinely beautiful here in Havasu! I look forward to car wash sessions, desert-in-bloom sessions, as well as pool shoots!

Love,

Elyse
